Why do I need this? Looks like a total mess waiting to happen.

As somebody who is a total sucker for kitchen stuff and has every gadget and small appliance ever made (most of which are never used) -- even I would have to skip this one!!!

I would actually love to have a nice butter sprayer for popcorn, but it doesn't need to be electrical—and I absolutely don't understand the pricing for this item. It looks like it will be presented on ITKWD today, so I guess we'll find out what it's all about shortly...

"It looks like it will be presented on ITKWD today"

If David can sell ice to Eskimos for a price, I see no reason why he can't sell out an electric butter sprayer that cost $70.50 w/easy pay no less!

When I first  looked at the link I thought  "well, $14. --that seems reasonable to be able to evenly butter one's popcorn  " Then I noticed that was ONE EP !-- Yikes I think I will skip it . I will just pour it on and fluff with a spurtle or ?

@okaywitheasypay  I fix popcorn just about every evening.  I have a pop corn popper but most times I go old school.  I like my popcorn salty w/EXTRA "real" butter.  Here is the popcorn butter trick that I have mastered through the years.....

I melt the butter in a small see through pan while the popcorn is popping.

When the butter is completely melted and the popcorn is done popping, I spin the pot or bowl as I pour the butter.  I pour 1/2 of the butter.  Stir up the popcorn & add a little salt.

Pour the rest of the butter on top.  Let the butter seap in for about 30 seconds & salt again.
