Egg Custard Pie

I found an easy recipe for Egg Custard Pie, which I adore. I only keep 2% milk. The recipe calls for milk, should I buy whole milk for the pie or will 2% be ok to use? I don't mind buying the whole milk, just wondering what would work best.
