My brother thinks I have two (2) peculiar habits and says they are "disgusting" .

I like ketchup on my eggs.

I like to add grape jelly to my turkey sausage biscuit.

I can't be the only person that does what I do. Does anyone else do this or have what might be considered peculiar?

@Sheila P-Burg I don't like either of those but I don't consider them disgusting. I consider your brothers rude.

I love A-1 sauce on my corned beef hash and lots of other stuff! I love sweet pickle relish in my tuna salad. We all have little things we like.

Re: Eating Habits

Lots of people put ketchup on eggs.  Some put Texas Pete on too.

Jelly goes great with sausage biscuit.

I think your brothers are doing what all bros do around the world, giving their sister a hard time.  Give one a taste of the biscuit, they will like it.  Apple jelly best

@Sheila P-Burg    Your brother must be easily disgusted.  He ought to sit across the table from someone eating huervos rancheros (sp?).  I can't even look.

I don't like eggs but maybe ketsup would camouflage the taste and texture.  I might try it.

@Bhvbum  .....  He's my brother and I love him. I just shake my head. He has and will always be blunt and and says what he thinks. Just at times not very tactfully.

Now ...... What is Texas Pete?

I've mentioned this in other threads. I add cottage cheese to chili. It gives it a disgusting pink look so I know why others are grossed it. Not saying it's something I'd do in a restaurant. @RetRN wouldn't go for our weekly pre-Covid soup lunch if I did.

@Sheila P-Burg   Your eating habits seem normal to me and not unique at all. Most everyone in my family does the same.

My father-in-law was known to put mustard and pickle relish on scrambled, eggs.  Now that is different..yuck.

My mother's sister used to dip bread with grape jelly on it in spaghetti sauce. That made my Italian father gag.

I've seen worse.

This is a case of brothers picking on their sister.  Oh my, does it ever end?  The only thing improved between my brother and me,  is that we don't still kick each other under the dinner table, so we've grown up a little in our senior years.

I love ketchup on my eggs, preferably the hot and spicy version.  While I've not tried jelly on a sausage biscuit, I doubt I'd dislike it.  Many like sweet and savory foods together.

My husband used to go nuts when we'd have French toast.  He wanted his slathered in butter, syrup, and powdered sugar, while I liked mine straight with a little butter and salt.  I'd always counter that,  if I wanted it to pretend to be a pancake, I'd just order oneWoman Wink.

@Sheila P-Burg   Tangy sweet hot sauce.  It's the only hot sauce I buy.  I use on my eggs as well as french fries.
