I made the Easter Specialty from my parents' homw town in Italy.   They are called Piconi.   I made 152 this year.

Looks yummy and like a labor of love.  How are these served? I've never heard of them.

@Boehm Collector They look delicious! Are they an appetizer or dessert?

Wow - they look incredible.  Will have to google them! Happy Easter.  They are savory cheese pastries.

Those look yummy even though I have no idea what it is. That's a lot of work making 152 of them.

Had to Google it. AI says it's:

"Piconi" refers to a baked ravioli dish from the Marche region of Italy, specifically from the Ascoli Piceno province. It is traditionally eaten for Easter breakfast or as a finger food. Piconi ascolani are unique in that they are baked rather than boiled like traditional ravioli.

No photos, but my Easter Special was the Jello eggs and {poorly!} decorated sugar cookies.  I make them every year and they probably send my grands into a sugar high.  Still this is what they LOVE, and I aim to please!!!

@Kachina624 ....... the filling is made with eggs, grated Parmigiano Reggiano and Pecorino Romano.   I also made the dough.
