I suppose you could use a processor, but you would have to only pulse, then remove an amount, then add more and pulse, unless you want completely minced. I prefer a knife.

Just shred the meat with your hands/fingers. Chicken salad is best this way. You get texture and variety. No one wants minced chicken from a food processor. That would be awful. Knives work. Shredding is best. Enjoy

I would just cut it with a knife or break it up with my fingers. You want pieces of chicken not minced up tiny in a food processor.

Grab a good knife, get a cutting board out and get to work. I don't mean to sound like a drill sergeant but it really doesn't take long and you can practice your knife handling skills. You will be done before you know it. Don't bother dirtying up some chopper/dicer contraption. Or shred the meat with your fingers like Skylands suggested.

Agreed. I use my good kitchen knife and Boos board every day. I clean them; they are never put away. A good, sharp knife and some skills and the chicken will be diced in less time than it to you to post this and read the replies.

As I said, if the pulse is used, it will not be minced, it will be chopped, but I always use a knife

Scissors, the fastest way to cut-up meat before and after it is cooked.
I can cut-up celery, carrots etc. in half the time.
