Dunkin Donuts ground coffee?

Giving my Keurig a break and bought some Dunkin Donuts ground coffee. Big bag at Costco around $20. I have heard so much about this coffee being a favorite to many. I can't believe how horrible it tasts. I keep waiting the the taste of coffee each swallow and all I get is yuck! Tastes old but I checked the date and good to sometime in the fall. What am I not getting here? I even thought of taking it back because it will go in the trash!
