Never tried them. We used to eat rolled oats cooked on the stove many years ago, but now we cook steel cut oats in a rice cooker every week.

I do similarly @PA Mom-mom .

I make Oatmeal in my instant pot. I never  thought I liked oatmeal until last year  when I was in the hospital and ate it bc I was hungry. Loved the hospital's version.  I didn't know it can have a thicker texture instead of soupy as I had seen growing up.

I make enough for a week for me. 2 cups water, 2 cups milk ( I use unsweetened oat milk bc it lasts in my fridge so long) 2 cups old fashioned oats. 3 min timer in the Instant Pot and let it naturally release. Scoop into my round Lock n Lock, score into quarters and boom four servings for the week.

I put Spenda Brown Sugar Blend, cinnamon and frozen mixed berries and zap for 2 min in Micro or add a banana after micro. Soooo yummy.

I now like oatmeal so much I buy a big size of Quaker Old Fashioned Oats that Sam's Club has...so so so much cheaper than my grocery store. I freeze uncooked oats to keep from going rancid)

I just looked and Sam's Club   $ 7.98 ($2 off reg) for 160 oz ... yup 160 ounces.  Its $2.98 for 18oz at Walmart, $5.09  18 oz Publix delivery price

I do rolled oats, I like the thicker cut ones, in the microwave, oats, salt and water for 1.5 to 2 minutes.  I don't like them cooked much and gummy.  I add milk and a little maple syrup, some flax seed oil and it's good to me!

And what miraculous thing do they do for you to spend $56 on 47 oz of oats? Except take your $$. I can buy 42 oz of organic rolled oats for $9. good grief!!!

I only eat steel cut oats. I buy them in bulk sold by the pound in a plastic bag.  They are really inexpensive that way.

Those mentioned look tasty, but they are expensive and probably loaded with some unhealthy items.

@wagirl

Yeah, this one is a real head-scratcher.

Do your oats come in ready to use packets in a variety of flavors, including brown sugar, and a jar -- and right to your door? Your choice, of course.
