Anyone ever use a dough whisk when making bread,

dumpling dough, etc.

I bought one thru Amazon seems like a good tool.

Re: Dough whisk

[ Edited ]

I have a dough hook that I use that  works well and a ball shaped whisk that I use for whipping, but not for bread..

Geez---I have one of those whisks---don't know why I immediately thought about the KA mixer ones Woman Frustrated I have  used that for bread --was into baking the dutch oven bread during  the pandemic--- the one you let sit for 12 hours before baking.

I use a Danish Whisk for thick batters and some doughs. I also use the dough hook on my Kitchenaid mixer.

I almost bought a dough whisk a few times, but talked myself out if it.  I love kitchen gadgets, but I have two drawers full and no more room.

I am looking at bread lames too...talking myself out of them, but I just might get one one of these days

I use the dough hooks on my KA, too. Not reinventing the wheel.

We love our Danish dough whisk ( one of our favorite gadgets; the other favorite is a pineapple corer).
