Does anyone tap trees for Making Maple syrup

I was just wondering if any of you go out and "tap" into the Maple trees and make your own maple syrup. My 83 year old dad goes up to camp and he and his brother tap trees and make maple syrup. It is quite a procedure that is for sure. A lot of work but they enjoy it and I think it is really cool that these two Geezers {#emotions_dlg.biggrin}go out and do that.
