I'm starting to think of ideas for Christmas presents and one of the people on my list has commented several times that they'd like to get a single cup coffee maker and I've found several that use the Senseo pods for a very good price and that get good reviews. Comparing the cost of the pods to the price she pays for the coffee she uses now, it's pretty much the same (assuming one pod will give the coffee adequate strength.)
So here come the questions.
1. Is one pod adequate for a good sized (travel mug) of coffee?
2. Do you have any experience with the decaf?
3. Have you tried the refillable pods that are available for use with your own coffee and what was your experience with them?
I know a lot of people here rave about the Keurig (and a lot have had trouble with the Keurig) so I'm looking for something simple and easy to use. The "Hamilton Beach Personal Cup Stay or Go POD Brewer" for $29.88 at Amazon is my current top contender. It gets good reviews, holds a travel mug, and seems like a good option. The coffee drinker in question doesn't like "fancy" coffee, so the lack of variety in pods isn't a big issue. Thanks in advance for any feedback.
