Re: Do you use your soup tureen?

I have three nice tureens and I use them, particularly if we have company for dinner and I'm serving a nice beef stew or something similar. I love my Winterberry tureen during the holidays.

To keep my soup or stew nice and hot, I simply fill the tureen with very hot water about 10-15 minutes or so before I plan to fill it with the soup.

good idea about the hot water.

i generally find that soup tureens hold in heat well for the duration of the meal, especially if what you are putting into it is already piping hot.

people need to think outside the box and start using your tureens!!!
