I enjoy honey in my tea. These pots are so whimsical and Amazon has it for around $8.00. My question is, if anyone would be kind enough to reply, does the honey drip off the wooden swirler when transferring the honey from the pot to the tea mug? It seems like it would make a mess. Also, how much honey does the above shown pot hold? In the warmer weather, does it attract ants and other assorted critters or is there a seal on the rim? Thanks so much for any and all replies.

The honey pot doesn't hold much maybe 1/2cup? It is small. No seal on it. Thankfully the only critters I get here are fruit flies and sometimes a spider but no ants. Yes the honey could drip off but I put my bowl or cup right next to the honey pot so at most I will get some honey on the side of the pot.

We found that it attracts ants--lots of them! So, we use honey from the squeeze bottle.

I have a honey pot but I've never used it. I thought I really wanted one but just never ended up putting the honey in the pot.

Hi luv,

I've decided against getting the honey pot. Cute as it is, it's not practical for me. I, like you, will keep squirting from the cute plastic bear. I do enjoy the honey I get from the local farms.

I see that you reside in Port St. Lucie. Are you at all familiar with the Savanna Club? I'm a New Yorker currently residing in Ohio and have always been drawn to the Savanna Club. I have a friend who lives in Vero and she said she would never buy in a community where you pay rent for the land as they can raise the rent every year and there is nothing you can do about. She also said they are manufactured homes but I know the newer ones have to comply with hurricane rules. If you are familiar with it, would you be kind enough to give me your opinion. Thanks so much. Enjoy the warmth. I am definitely planning to retire to Florida. docsgirl
