I also love poached eggs, and have enjoyed reading all your methods. Me, I have one of those little egg cookers the Q sells very cheaply. I use it mostly for hard boiled eggs but the poaching tray works fine. I love to eat 2 poached on top of a ground beef patty for breakfast. Protein!

I use to own one...but..one day while in Bed and Bath I found what was called ""silicone Pods"" they make the perfect poached eggs..(in my humble opinion) they come two to a pkg and if I remember about $9.00...just spray little pam inside crack the egg into the pod then set pod into simmering water for about 3 mins. Perfect..clean up is hardly nothing..Tess
