Dinner is usually a protein and vegetables and a salad. I rarely make pasta, maybe once or twice a month. I try to incorporate some veggies on the side or in the sauce, along with a salad, with that meal. We gave up bread at dinner a long time ago. I still miss it. ![]()

It varies with us, depending upon mostly how DH's health is. For a long while, he was not feeling up to eating much, so we just ate small things. Now, he is feeling some better and he is wanting to eat larger meals - more balanced. As for me, I'm not for the most part really into the larger meals any more, except for mayabe Sunday or a special occasion.

I cook dinner 4-5 days a week. Protein, starch and veggie or salad. Other days leftovers, or sometimes we graze. I don't always eat the starch, but SO, he eats several times a day. I ususally eat one meal, and maybe a cup of soup, or yogurt, or a piece of fruit another time of day. We eat out 2-3 times a month, maybe sometimes 4. When I make steak, we usually share one. He will grill, but I do most of the cooking.

Yes, I make complete meals at dinner time. Breakfast is usually cereal and fruit for DH. I like plain yogurt and fruit. Lunch is generally leftovers from the night before. Today, it will be my version of a bacon and egg McMuffin, and an apple. Tonight, we'll have a green salad, cheesy potatoes (I'll have cheesy cauliflower) and cube steaks. My DH likes dessert, so that will be a dish of ice cream.

I quit cooking many years ago. I basically eat sandwiches or microwave dinners. About every 3 months or so, I'll make a hamburger.

I usually cook a full meal-----and then DD and I also eat ala cart too.

Not at all. I live alone and prefer eating whatever my tummy wants that night.

We eat no carb and dinners consist of a salad (always) protein and vege. I'm very strict with what we consume. I read all ingredients in things I buy. If anything says "bioengineered" I put it back. It's paying off, our latest blood tests are all in the normal range. yay!

Our biggest meal is lunch, I cook what would be considered dinner food like what other posters have. We are very early risers (between 4:00 and 5:00) and have breakfast daily - usually bagel, toast, cereal or yogurt fruit smoothie. Because of the big lunch we don't eat dinner and as of late we enjoy a glass of wine around 5:00, watch something on Netflix and are in bed by 8:00

My meals are easy and simple. For the most part, I have a sandwich or a casserole with a salad or some other vegetable. If I have a chicken breast or some other protein, I'll have a baked potato and the salad/vegetable.
