I don't use a lot of honey but have a friend who has hives and keeps me supplied. I don't care for any sweetener in my coffee or tea but have tried honey in my tea and don't care for the taste. The main use for me is in my yogurt. I don't care for the flavored yogurts, they're too sweet for my liking, but find if I add a little honey to my plain Greek yogurt, it's very tasty. I also like to add a small bit of Grape Nuts or some sort of granola and it seems to be a good protein packed breakfast.
I have bought regular honey (not local) in the grocery store and used it to baste a baked ham before.

@Carolina925 ,your post reminded me of a 'dirty banana' I used to make for my mother: peel a banana, spread peanut butter over it, drizzle with honey and sprinkle with grape nuts.
Sounds fattening but it's really not and it is very filling - a good and easy breakfast. Gonna have to pick up some bananas today!

Do you like it, use it?
We love honey. I usually buy Nature Nate's Organic Honey at Sam's. It's great on peanut butter sandwiches, in tea and on biscuits with real butter....oooooolala!
I remember my dad getting honey with the comb still in it when I was a kid. What a treat that was to get to chew on a chunk of honeycomb!

@eddyandme , I have to go to store today; will pick up some bananas, that sounds good.
Forgot to add that I like to drizzle honey over orange slices and have with hot teas in the winter.

We use honey in tea. Our little dog gets some in his chamomile tea he loves.

Only straight with the honeycomb right from the bee hives, and that was about 50-60 years ago.
Now, never.
