If so, is it as handy as it looks? I just don't entertain enough anymore to warrant one but my daughter does and I'd love to buy her one.

I have a warming tray about that size.  Used it to keep hubby's dinner warm in 1970s when he worked late.  Haven't used it since.

I have (stored somewhere around here) a Salton® Hot Tray that's probably 50 years old.

It's good if you have guests that like to eat scalding hot food.    Also, bear in mind, if you keep food THAT HOT, it's also still cooking.

Yes, this is a warming tray. I got one as a wedding gift 46 years ago. I still have it and it still works. I've only used it when I have big parties, never in my everyday life.

I have a warming tray and that's all it does!  I used it that holiday and it dried everything out!  It just had off and on.

Re: Do you have one of these?

I don't have one, but it looks like a modern update of the old electric warming trays. It's clever that it rolls up for easy storage.

I would look for reviews online where it can be purchased. If it works, it's a great idea - and a very nice gift!

We're not in the entertaining stage of life anymore (or at least, it's pretty rare). But your daughter might be in exactly that phase, and find it very helpful.
