Yes, this dinnerware which is from England that I inherited from my great-aunt. I use it for all of the holiday dinners I host.

Not only for Thanksgiving but other special occasions , I have my mom's Staffordshire Liberty Blue pattern with a lot of the serving pieces and I still look on ebay to see if I can add the final pieces I need.

For dessert I have a Rosenthal china set that I picked up at auction it's the coffee pot, sugar, creamer, cake plate plus dessert dishes

Re: Do you have a special dinnerware pattern you use for Thanksgiving?

How could I have missed this thread?

I don't smoke (never have) drink, get tattoos, do or ever did the rec. drugs, gamble, etc.(many etc's). BUT, I do buy dishes! That's my weakness.

I have Lenox bone china for both Thanksgiving and Christmas. Also, Lenox Williamsburg pattern when it was made. I have the Arcopal glass dinnerware in red for the holidays I can mix and match with my other patterns. They make lovely sets in blue, green, yellow, clear, and the red. I recently gave away my Pfaltzgraff Winterberry collection to a gal who will use and appreciate it. I donated my blue and white Blue Willow to a charity.

I guess I need to go out and buy more dishes!

I liked the paper plates too!

You just had to make me go look up the Lenox Williamsburg pattern! Love it! I am also a dishaholic and Lenox has my number. I love almost everything they do - I have complete sets of the Winter Greetings Everyday, the Winter Greetings Green and American Home red (almost like Winter Song) from a few years ago, and Butterfly Meadow. That's in addition to the previously mentioned Churchill Queen's Myott turkey pattern, Old Country Roses (including Christmas pieces) and tons of Polish Stoneware. Oh, and a set of Susan Winget Rooster stoneware. I think I need a support group.

I've been thinking about getting some Mosser glass pieces to use the way you use your Arcopal - I'll bet it's gorgeous.

You have outdone me. I gave away my Pfaltzgraff dishes to a gal who could use them and I donated my Bluewillow to a charity. Now, I will have to go shopping for more dishes!

Re: Do you have a special dinnerware pattern you use for Thanksgiving?

Pssst, OP here. I lost my mind over the weekend (may have even had a glass or two of wine) and ordered some of those Pfaltzgraff Plymouth dishes. Hubby's going to kill me one of these days.....or at the very least, his head's gonna pop right off. HA!

Wishing one and all a marvelous meal on your divine dishes and pretty paper plates. And hoping your turkey is Tom TERRIFIC!

My grandmother passed her Thanksgiving dishes down to me. The pattern is called Friendly Village, and they were made by Johnson Brothers in England.
