Yes, I had them included when I remodeled and love them.

Re: Do you cook on an induction burner or stove?

I chose a 5 burner gas cook top for our new home.

I HATE IT.

I have a single Induction burner which I love!!!

It is incredible.  You can adjust the temp completely !!!

Nothing cooks more evenly!

They are coming out with Induction cook tops that do NOT require a 220 line soon.

You can plug it into a 120 reg outlet!  Boils water in 40 seconds!!!

I'll be in waiting.....

I have a stove with coil burners now--not a fan. I really like the smooth top stove tops and had them for many years in my house, but if I were to buy a new stove now, it would be induction for sure.

My range in my home has a turbo burner, not induction, that boils water super fast.

I am in need of a new range.  The one I have now often will not work...the two ovens and the cook top.. It especially will decide to go on the blink when I am cooking holiday meals and cooking for hours. The motherboard needs replaced and they are no longer made.  I found a used one for $1200....no thanks.

I have been looking for a while.  I checked out the induction range tops, but they didn't excite me.

I really want another range with a double oven with a turbo burner on the range top.

I wouldn't want an all induction cooktop but I know someone who has one and likes it.  I wish they made a stove with 2 regular burners and 2 induction burners!!!!!

I have ALWAYS had Electric coil stove/oven.  Taking into account the warm up and cool down time is second nature now and easily figured into the recipe cook time.

WHAT I DON'T LIKE is No stove when the electricity goes out.

Luckily that is a rare occurrence.

@RespectLife they have stand-alone induction eyes.  I sometimes have to use a stand-alone eye since I only have 2 eyes and I can only use one of them if one of my pans is large.

[ Edited ]

I keep mine on top of the big burner on my stove.

Like it much better than that crazy turbo burner!

I love the fact that when it goes off, it is OFF.  Doesn't stay hot and over cook or burn your pan.

Since the burner doesn't "heat" it does not heat up the kitchen like my glass top does.

Re: Do you cook on an induction burner or stove?

@Zhills

i just remodeled my kitchen and changed from gas to induction

i liked gas... i have no problem with it

my old white stove had the removable 4 small grates that you can remove with 2 fingers

when i went range shopping - the ranges were all nice

but what bothered me was the middle -

an oval grill pan - i would have prefer a small burner since i dont use a grill pan

maybe i would have ... but that seems a waste for me

then i tried lifting it - gosh.. it was heavy - i was used to 4 lightweight grates

i can lfit it but think i would find that tiresome after a time

just like that - i decided to go induction

i have not burn the oven yet - it is hot and leaving the oven on for 1 hr at 400 - yikes

i only tried cooking yesterday - just doing a bag of trader joe frozen pasta along with added sausge and veg - the time it took me to read and figure out which button

it went off lol - i like that i can set a timer - it beeped after a few minutes so i went back to stir it

it is all touch panel - no knobs and i cant get the clock to stay on

it is set but then it goes dark.... the instruction manual is very long 60 pgs or so

but i love all it will be much easier to clean

i know there is a boost button - and many degrees of heat

i was using 2 - and nothing was melting... will continue to learn

any tips from anyone is much appreciated

i already purchased the daily cleaner - and the polish as per the LONG manual

dont want it dull - scratched etc bc i used something else

is that really necessary?

Gas stove.  When DH and I got married, our apartment had an electric stove (and oven too, of course).  It took some getting used to.  I never liked cooking that way.

Take a look at your manual.  I just got a toaster oven recently and it has athick  manual that is actually the same small manual in 4 different languages!    Enjoy your new cooktop!
