I have 3 to 4 people come in as a group of fine ladies clean once a month. I keep up with it the rest of the time. They are in a group because thats the way they clean. Sometimes there are 2 somtimes 3 sometimes 4. I like the 4 because they finish quickly. Same price either way.

I clean my own house, I'm kinda picky that way. IF I had someone I would look for an independent person who works for themselves. We have a Merry Maids here and I wouldn't hire them at all, I've heard awful things about the one/owners here.

I clean my own house. I would rather spend my money on clothes and jewelry. I do not have extra money. I do not clean as often as I used to, my husband has been helping me since we have lived together.

I hate cleaning. I seriously abhor it.

I clean my home daily, 2 full baths, and 3 bedrooms. I pull apart each room weekly and dust, and clean windows. I vacuum daily sometimes 2x's a day. I have never had a cleaning service. I have what is known as housemaid knees from me being on the floor on my hands and knees.

Yeah......but this is such a dusty climate, you'd never know if I cleaned or not (!)

Me, too - but I've always loved cooking and started preparing simple meals at age 9. My mom, OTOH, was not a cook so always told me "you cook, I'll clean" - this served us well until I got married and left home. I work full time, often needing to travel, and raise show cats (Himalayan Persians - lots of fur) that I take to shows 2-3 weekends a month. I have a wonderful lady who comes in at least 3 times a week to care for the cats and cleans the rest of the house once a week. She does not do personal laundry (just sheets and towels), ironing (well, I don't do that either), refrigerator or oven. I purchase the cleaning products I want her to use, so no issues there. Oh, and she also hates to cook, so the days she comes to clean the house and the cats, I also feed her dinner. Could I do a better job myself? Maybe. But, I'm not a fuss-budget and neither is my husband.
If I didn't work, maybe things would be different. My sister who has never worked (except for a part-time job while her two kids were in college many years ago) wouldn't dream of having someone else clean her house.

Yes, I clean my own house. Now how often is another question. I used to have help but now it seems wasteful to spent money when I have the time........unfortunately I don't have the inclination.
