Do You Own a Flour Sifter?

I am watching the new "Trisha's Southern Kitchen" and when she sifted her flour she used a strainer. I have noticed that on lot on the cooking shows, and most if not all use this method.

I have a flour sifter, the kind with the handle that you press and it has a thingy in the bottom that sifts your flour. Just wondered if this kitchen tool is out of vogue. Just curious.
