Yes, I always leave the door open a bit for the oven to cool down -- even in the summer.

I rarely use my oven from May to October. But when I do use it in winter the answer is no.

it's been so long since I have used my actual oven, but no I remove the item and close the door.  My Oster French Door oven you can't leave open just a bit.  It's all or none.

Yes, after I turn my oven off, I leave the door open about 1/3 of the way for it to cool down, winter or summer.

I am one of those people whose oven doesn't heat up the kitchen so leaving the door open a little till it cools down is no big deal.

In the warm months, I definitely do not open the oven door -  and other than to warm up the kitchen, I see no reason to leave it open at all.
