A lot of former churches are being made into homes, usually 2 or 3 units. They are absolutely beautiful, but I have mixed feelings about it.

This kitchen is beautiful, but I would prefer more light.

@Kachina624 , I always thought I would love to do a remodel of a church to a residence.  Such interesting architecture.  In this one though it is too much 'church' for me.  With my Catholic upbringing, I would have the urge to be genuflecting left and right lol.

The 3 arched, stained glass windows are a bit much for me, I would leave the one in the middle and nix the ones to either side to let more light in and be able to see out.

I'm not seeing a religious motif in the windows.  Perhaps some wealthy person had them made?  If this really is an old church, I would not be able to live there.  Too superstitious on some things.  I was once at an auction that sold off a nun's gold ring (married to Christ, remember).  No way could I buy it, I'm shocked the family didn't do something with it that would help the church or convent.
