I’m Italian and grew up on olive oil and salt and pepper. Sometimes I will use a lemon too.
Me too, I use olive oil and usually red wine vinegar and salt and pepper..... Sometimes Balsamic vinegar

My mom used to make that

Both.
Husband has to have French and Catalina.
Trucker daughter wants Italian and her boyfriend has to have honey mustard and ranch.
Teacher daughter and I like garlic, oil and vinegar dressing.
Since we don't eat salad that often it's easier to buy the dressing.

I do both....I like making dressings, but there are also some excellent dressings at the grocers, especially local dressings that I wouldn't even try to duplicate, e.g., Imo's dressing available in some parts of the Midwest. My refrigerator always has a bottle of Imo's! Homemade is usually mayo based with a little vinegar and sugar, or a vinegar/oil base, although I love Kraft Zesty Italian too.

I like sweet Italian dressing, so I drizzle on a little olive oil, small amount of vinegar and a packet of stevia. Makes me happy.

i like Brianna's dressings and i thought they use olive oil in the past but just noticed on my Vinaigrette they use Canola oil!

Make my own. So easy, and way healthier! Also tastes better-I am famous for my mock Caesar salad dressing.

I almost always make my own. My base recipe is EVOO, red wine vinegar, and salt and pepper. For a sweeter dressing, I add a squirt of agave or honey. Sometimes I'll add a little dijon mustard.
