  I have always loved grapefruit, especially Ruby Red. Unfortunately, I can no longer have it because of the statin I take.

Only 2 fruits I don't like, #1 grapefruit and #2 pineapple.

I have to say that grapefruit is my least favorite of the citrus variety.

Makes my mouth pucker and even sugar doesn't help.

 

At any rate, for years we went to a Christmas Day brunch at my in-laws house.  We'd all get seated, have the blessing then without fail in would come my sweet mother-in-law (rest her soul) with a huge tray of baked grapefruit as a starter.  My word was it tough to get down but I would never have offended her by not eating it.

@Elodie2 I don't like it with sugar, but I LOVE it with some salt!  How nice of you to eat it anyway!  I admire that!
