Re: Do You Have Your Easter Menu Planned?

My family is going with traditional ham and turkey but adding on ravioli and tortellini because that's what Italians do. Smiley Very Happy

We are having various vegetable sides and a salad and a birthday cake for dessert to celebrate another special occasion this week as well. Getting it all covered in one night.

Happy Easter!

@JeanLouiseFinch   Thank you so much for the recipe. Im going to make them for Easter.  Sounds delicious, and something diffrent for us Northeners!  Thank you

I sure hope you and your guests enjoy them.  I made them TWICE a last weekend.  My sister was visiting. Between her, my husband, and me, we polished off 3/4 of the pan.  It was mostly she and I. The leftovers of that pan went home with her.  The next night, there were more guests and again polished off most of the pan.  Those leftovers went home with my other sister and BIL.

Appetizer - sinach dip served with raw veggies and pit chips.

Entree - swordfish piccata, green beans sauteed with olive oil, orange zest, lemon zest, and shallots, pasta salad with salsa verde and shrimp.

Dessert - individual bundt cakes from Nothing Bundt Cakes.

@LisaMofSLC

RE: slice of ham. I often buy this, and when I have left overs, I use it in a potato, cheese casserole.Another thing I do is cut the left over ham in small chunks and mix in an egg omlette and if I have some broccoli, I add that in too.

All in all, the candy basket would be my favorite tho :-)
