Re: Do You Have A Real Bakery Near You?

I grew up in Astoria NY we lived next door to a wonderful Italian bakery. It is still there.

When we moved to Levittown NY there were a lot of great bakeries.

I lived in Las Vegas for 24 years and when I first moved there all I found was one real bakery.

Now living in NEPA. There are bakeries. They are ok.

When I go to visit my family in Astoria my first stop are the Italian bakeries. I stock up like a crazy person.

I think growing up right next door to a bakery made me a real fan. 😀. It just brings back really fond memories for me.

Here in the old part of Colorado Springs (Old Colorado City) there is a French bakery and cafe that sells some of the best bread and pastries. If you come and visit this part of Colorado, it's a very historic part of town with lot's of old-town flavor. Be sure and visit La Baguette  in Old Colorado City.
