Dishwasher Detergent

I just emptied my dishwasher. And ended up hand washing about 1/2 of the items that were in the dishwasher. Some of the dishes and silverware looked as dirty coming out as they did going into the dishwasher. I don't know why I use my dishwasher anymore. Sometimes I think it would be faster to just hand wash everything.

I used to only use Cascade. But have been so disappointed with the way the dishes look after the dishwasher is run. I have been trying different brands but nothing works like the detergents used to. The dishwasher is 2 years old and I use the heavy duty scrub cycle. Wonder what the dishes would look like if I used the regular cycle. UGH!
