If anyone wants to try one of the Sonic drinks, they have Happy Hour from 2 pm to 4 pm when drinks and slushes are half price. I would buy the big Route 44, and it lasted well into the evening. My favorites were the grape slush or the lime slush. I had to give them up because of acid reflux, but I miss them.

Not just in the southern states. There are Sonics in Kansas.

Please don't anyone think all Thai food is hot. It is not. You can order a dish that's knock your socks off hot, but you can order the same dish mild as well.

@jlkz.  My sister in Philly suburbs never heard of Sonic.  They've expanded rapidly and is very popular here.

@On It.  Speaking of slush, did you know it snowed in Ruidoso today?

A cousin lives near Norristown and there is one there on Germantown and Swede (?) when I visited her a while back. One or two in Hazleton.....

@Kachina624 It was an odd snowfall. The alert we received indicated the largest snowfall was at the lower elevation of the village. It got 5". The midtown area is lower than our house, but here is a photo of midtown and how little snow is on the street.

@Kachina624 The melting snow is a good thing. Lots of folks are leaving here and headed there for Spring Break. Not all will have 4-wheel drive. I hope the families enjoy the fresh powder on the ski slopes. I think the mountain had snow all day. I will stay here where we will be getting back into the 70's. Today was about 50.
