Difference between banana bread and banana cake?

I never attempted baking until I retired and bought a Kitchen Aid. I've been making Antonella's banana cake ever since she posted the recipe a few years ago. Today I made my friends banana bread recipe and I notice its virtually the same, except Antonella's has one more banana.
