I really don't have much to lose, maybe 5 to 10 pounds max.  Have had great success in the past with WW.  So I've been thinking of caling them again and going to some locally convenient meetings.

Bam - then here comes those annoying Oprah commercials.  The "I Love Bread" pushed me away before, but this new one is worse.  Sorry, Oprah, but seeing you in that black leotard outfit (which is not flattering) , and then with the spaghetti hanging out of your mouth just thoroughly convinces me that right now WW isn't where I want to go.  Maybe when they get some real people with real lives and without a personal chef to cook for then. I'll think about it again.

Honestly I am sick of "celebrities" hawking diet plans, like Kristi Allely for Jenny Craig and/or Marie Osmond for Nutrisystem.  Need to see some "average" American gals before I join in again.  (I did like Kat on QVC!)

@PerkupOprah is in maintenance.  Having been on WW, we can have 1/2 C of starch too.  I'm doing salads some lean meats.  I'm waiting on you!

I really don't know what stage she is in, but she looks not so good in that black leotard, and I have to say that nothing in that commercial makes me want to go back to WW.

For me, she looks llike she doesn't look like WW has done nearly enough for her. Why are you waiting on me?  I weigh 121, but I am only 5'an 1/2 ".

I choose to call it eating healthy.  And that's what I try to do.

I am 70 years old and have continued to lose at least 4 to 5 pounds a month. For me, age has nothing to do with my progress.

Thanks for that, gives me hope!

Perkup, I totally agree with you about the celebrity thing. I do get the WW magazine and they have so many good recipes I use every day. I was really surprised about that. I don't know or use the point system, but the mag is very helpful to me. I also just got the Eat What You Love cookbook and it looks promising. Came at a great time.

Have a beautiful day, everyone!
