Hi Clem!  For me, this works great.   I have a number of different types of magnetic hooks that I use.  They have the super-magnetic type of magnets on them.     I hang three of that size silicone trivet on one hook and the weight doesn't even pull the magnet down.

These particular ones I have I mostly like because they are nice, heavy-duty, hooks that are black.  I think they are made by Traeger and you get them in a package of two.    When I was first purchasing them, almost exactly the same hooks were made by Char-broil.  But then those got impossible to find and I found the Traeger ones.   I guess part of what they are about is hanging tools and stuff outside on your barbeque.

Of course, everybody else probably doesn't love black like I do.    But, for me, they are perfect.
