I have an electric dicer/chopper for vegies, nuts, spices & coffee.

@RedTop. Just recently there was a recall of prepared salad containing pasta. Several deaths from listeria.

@TheMemphisVette I never understood people complaining about standing in the kitchen.
Just get a chair/stool you can lever up & down like the one you posted.
And if I am standing, my kitchen mats are cushioned. Like standing in clouds.
Sometimes I use my extra large tablemate & sit in my loung chair instead of using my kitchen.
The one in the above photo is small. The extra large has a cup holder & a slot thingie at the top to hold tablets. I "think" that's what the slot is for.

@TheMemphisVette, I have so many memories of my grandmother sitting on a stool while preparing meals or washing dishes that I've started to consider getting a kitchen stool for myself.

@Puppy Galore, interesting item. Thanks for pointing it out. I wonder if it's a seasonal item, since I've never seen it before. If I had seen it sooner I would have bought it for a test run to see how it compares to traditional dicing and seasoning in stuffing.

I don't have a need for a stool, but wondering how that would work. Do you sit facing the counter top or sit sideways? Either way it seems like I would hurt my back trying to reach. I've never tried it so maybe I'm overthinking and creating a nonexistent problem lol

Great idea!!! Will look for that next time. I too, love the taylor farms salad kits and dill pickle is one of my faves. I do have choppers that I am using to chop, but like it all in one package---
