IMG_0354.jpegIMG_0355.jpegI found this at Safeway this morning. $5.59

I can't stand too long in the kitchen and this helped. I usually use Spanish onions, but these are white. A bit strong, but hoping when everything else is added to mom's dressing it'll be fine.

Perhaps it can help some of you out. Also a plus,  NO TEARS !

Re: Diced onions and celery.

I do that quite often, I use a chopper from Tupperware that  I love but when my hand are acting up I buy prechopped veggies too.

Re: Diced onions and celery.

I have been buying Taylor Farms Salad kits for several years. I have been very pleased with their products. In fact my son started eating salads after trying their Dill Pickle Salad.

I have only seen their salad kits, will have to look for their other proucts.

Looks like the spices were added too. Tell us how your stuffing turns out.

I have an electric chopper, but I have to skin the onions first, not able to today.

This is the first time I've seen chopped onions and celery.

@drizzellla

I found the package when you first walk into the store, where they display the pblueberries, and assorted fruits. I thought it was just celery, no onions.

I asked one lady who was working and she showed me where the diced onions, etc are year round.
At my store it's on the same side as the salads you mentioned before you get to the salads.

Hope this helps.

I'll let you know how it turns out.

Re: Diced onions and celery.

Our Wegmans store always has chopped veggies. Celery and onions, celery, carrots, and onions( mirepoix), they also have peppers and onions either diced or sliced. I buy them when I don't have much time.

What a great find and a time saver if you have difficulty chopping.  We often purchase the Birds Eye frozen chopped onion and tri color pepper  mix.......I think it might be labeled stir fry..........to use when we have Italian sausage sandwiches. It's really handy if I don't have fresh for cooking.  And it's a great deal when found on sale

Re: Diced onions and celery.

That is interesting.  I have never seen a stuffing mix like that.  My grocery store sells chopped onions and celery seperately.

I absolutely hate sage...gag, so I wouldn't be interested.

I use by food processor to cut veggies.  I very seldom cut them by hand unless I only need a little.

That is a nice convenience for many people.

Re: Diced onions and celery.

Packaged products like this can be so convenient.  Based on trucker daughters advice, I personally do not buy them due to the history of recalls on processed products from California companies.  Taylor Farms has a history of contaminated products involved in recalls.

@Puppy Galore

I've purchased many salad mixes from Taylor Farms, have never been disappointed.

This mix is probably great, good idea! Smiley Happy

@Puppy Galore.  I find the onions and peppers handy too, plus mild frozen green Chile all ready to eat.
