Do you dilute it or full strength?

We have a distilling water station on our kitchen and make distilled water daily for our Keurig. From about October through til the beginng of April, we will step up our water production so we can fill our humidifiers daily too.

We have never had to descale our Keurig in 7 years. It also helps keep maintenance of our humidifiers to a minimum too.

So to answer your question, we don't use any special products.

1:1 white vinegar and water - enough to fill the reservoir.

Keep repeating the descaling process until the entire reservoir is used up.  Then repeat with plain water.

We only use bottled water in our Keurig, so it doesn't need descaling very often.  But when it does, we use straight white vinegar.  Then we run a few cycles of just bottled water through it.  (We buy gallon jugs of water for the Keurig - about $.89 per jug.)

Trucker daughter uses white vinegar to descale her Keurig here, as well as the one she keeps in her big rig.

@bcherry01 I use a product called "Coffee Machine Descaler by Impresa". I got it from Amazon. It works very well.

I fill my Keurig with water from my Zero pitcher and have only needed to descale once in four years. When I did I used straight vinegar. Ran cycles until I needed to add water. Rinsed, refilled with water and ran at least another five cycles. Emptied, rinsed, finished and refilled with water.
