I recently purchased a Presto food dehydrator to dehydrate vegetables from the garden. The first think I have tried are Sweet Potatoe slices. I put them in there for about 5 to 7 hours and they feel dehydrated but when I store them I end up with some with sticky wet spots on them. What am I doing wrong? I put them in the dehydrator raw and they are sliced about 1/4 inch thick.
