Her last scandal was, well, her last scandal for me. I donated the few cookbooks I had to Goodwill.

I hope they've improved on the cookware. Her line of cast iron sold at WM cracked in two for many.

Her sons did this line and now, she does too.  I got my first piece several months ago and use it ALL the time.

The chicken fryer like piece with the steamer insert.  GREAT!

probably put in cold water after taking it out of the oven.

Most people don't use common sense or have not been raised to know any better.

I didn't know cast iron could crack like that.

Yep,

I didn't know that concrete animals if picked up by the ears in freezing temps

would just crack off. Had that to happen up in Ind. I went over and picked up my white rabbit decoration I had out in the yard and I came away with just a pair of ears. Poor rabbit was earless. LOL

what good was a rabbit with no ears ? I had to dump. Won't pull that stunt again. We think strong materials like metals, cast iron, concrete can take anything, nope. Everything has a water lou

let your cast iron , really any kind of skillet cool down then wash. Just to be on safe side. No big deal give it 15 min.   Leave frozen yard ornaments alone ! LOL
