David's Stuffed Cabbage Rolls Recipe

The recipe calls for 2 1/2 lb of meatloaf mix. I can't find the recipe for meatloaf mix. Help!!!

You can probably use any favorite meatloaf recipe. I think I would use the recipe I use for stuffed bell peppers--contains hamburger, rice, cheese, etc. (It's from a Betty Crocker cookbook.)

Hi. IDK his recipe, but often when a recipe calls for 'meatloaf mix', it just means what pre-ground meat at the store to shop for: generally a mixture of beef, pork & veal, hence: meatloaf mix.

I also think the reference is to a mix of meat that generally is used in meatloaf.

In the ground beef section - a mixture of meats for meatloaf.
