Those pies sure looked good in GH show yesterday. Almost bought some but hesitant to spend that much. Has anyone had them?

I have not had them but I looked them up and the reviews are not very good.

Thanks for the info as I've not read the reviews yet.

The pies look good in the presentation but, given the reviews, I think you'd be better off buying two frozen pies from the supermarket (e.g. Sara Lee).  You'd get more (68 oz vs. 56 oz.) at a fraction of the price.

I also think them expensive.  I have two places in my area where sugar free pies are sold which in my opinion are delicious and can be put in the freezer.  Many of the food products on the Q are expensive and I can buy a variety of foods at the stores I shop at.

Actually, I went to the store and got all ingredients and made my own blueberry pie. It's in the oven baking now!

Heard the lady say they use sorbitol for sweetening.  No thanks.

Yeah, I heard that too. Don't know much about Sorbital but why not just use less sugar?

Because then they couldn't say "no sugar added".
