David Venable’s Hot Chocolate taken off website

David Venable's hot chocolate was just put up for sale last weekend I think. There were so many people who chimed in; criticizing everything from the contents, to questions, comments; so much negativity that QVC took the item off the website. It seems very unfair that instead of real reviews, there were some that posted their feelings about the product, which was out of line. I was actually thinking of purchasing it, but without any reviews, I'm hesitant. It seems inappropriate the customer should complain about a product that they've never purchased!

@Effie54That's what QVC gets for allowing facetious, inappropriate reviews. Maybe they'll wake up now.

Maybe it's just sold out and that's why it's gone??

Land O' Lakes is the best anyway. On sale it's 79 cents a package. I buy the Hazelnut & Caramel. I get at United Supermarkets.

It could be....but unlikely. There were so many nasty comments that they were no genuine reviews. It was rated one star by customers who never even bought or tasted it. There's something very flawed about the review system.

@Effie54Did QVC or David mention that it was "removed" for any other reason than it sold out?

David put the hot chocolate link in all of his social media posts for days. The way David's fans had near heart attacks when his calendar sold out, perhaps they quickly bought all the hot chocolate as well.

Yes, I know. But it's unlikely.
