Re: Dan Wheeler over-eating again

@Reever

Easy solution: If you don’t enjoy watching Dan (or anyone else, for that matter) eat, don’t watch! There must be one or two other things you could do?

I only watch when I am interested in possibly purchasing the item being presented. And I usually just watch the video online instead of live. It saves lots of time and I rarely get annoyed with what I am looking at.

Why the negativity?  I love seeing a man enjoying what he's eating.  Dan seems to be  kind and compassionate person.....leave him alone.

Re: Dan Wheeler over-eating again

Look at the bright side to all of this discussion. All we have to worry about is, "What is Dan Wheeler Gobbling Today?'.

Sounds like a pretty good day to me. I'll bet even Dan would be laughing about it.

Re: Dan Wheeler over-eating again

@Reever  Dan is doing his job....he is working on earning a living indicating that what he is selling is desirable.  It is so easy to change a channel....and a lot more time to use my energy on judging this working man.  His efforts do not effect me one way or the other.

Re: Dan Wheeler over-eating again

Drives me nuts watching both of them SWINGING their used fork around vendor's eyes and each other.  And  Dan double dipping.    Doesn't appear to know better.

Re: Dan Wheeler over-eating again

I just cannot watcj the food shows with SF and DW as hosts.  Not at all enjoyable to watch.  Especially not DW.  Even if he's not presenting a particular item, he rushes onto the set to grab some.  Tacky, IMHO.

Re: Dan Wheeler over-eating again

I raarely watch food shows.  The reason is that anyone eating on television is an undesirable watch IMHO. (Ever watch the horrible manners and eating habits on Four Weddings?) Dan and Sharon may not please you visually, but neither is as disgusting to me as the host of other kitchen related shows who not only makes monkey faces, swoons over food and does ridiculous dances and hip bumps with many of the women vendors and co-hosts. To me this borders on inappropriate touching  Just MHO, so don't get all bothered. We each have different buttons to push.

I'm also bothered by the onstant hugging and kissy kissy stuff with any of the hosts. Totally uncalled for. It's a little too "business casual" for my taste.

I too cannot take that host who does happy dances and says "get it, get it, get it" every time he takes a bite of food. I prefer a more professional way of carrying yourself on television. What sort of middle aged man behaves in such a silly manner, especially on TV? I agree a more professional environment is necessary on television.
