Good thing for you, you won't have to stomach him much longer.
The eating on the programs doesn't bother me. In the grand scheme of things how much are they really eating? A bite here and there of what they are selling? It's probably not even the equivelent of a full meal.
I just cannot imagine being that bothered by something like this. So many people have such weak stomachs over things I just cannot fathom.

@seaBreeze wrote:David, Sharon, etc. all eat as if it were their last meal .... selling to the masses require a bit of showmanship, and yes, a little overzealous eating perhaps. Dan is my hero, when he was in his bereavement period, so was I, and his blogs got me through a hard time. Dan, you're the best, whether eating the entire entree or not~!
I agree Sea Breeze! Sharon and David together are just too loud and they look like they've never eaten before. Dan rocks and is among my favorites! He's genuine and fun to watch!

I've seen people bash hosts for all manner of things but this is the first time anyone has ever bashed a host for eating during a food a show....lol This board gets funnier all the time.

The hosts comments on the food are irrelevant to me as they could never say something tastes terrible or unpleasant. This is probably the closest they come to teetering on the edge of truth (beauty product miracles aside). Their job is to make you buy it. Remember those horrible crab cakes—I didn’t see any hosts being honest about those. It was the customer uproar and complaints that caused QVC to drop the product.

I remmeber this crab cakes - they were called "Chesapeake Bay" crab cakes and they were quite good at first. The problem was the company grew too quickly and had to start sourcing crab from China. Complaints started rolling in about a fishy/ammonia smell and taste. I believe the vendors were an older couple named Ron and Margie. They must of made millions then lost millions when the line went belly up.

@Reever yes they started off good. Then they changed, my Mother reordered them and threw them in the trash. She said the taste and smell made them impossbile to eat. They were not cheap either.

Maybe he's filling up for the long drought to come when he's on his own. I don't watch him so I haven't witnessed his pig-out.
