I love cottage cheese, but only small curd. And I get "California style." The only brand I buy is Friendship, and I always get 4% milk fat. 

It's not only delicious on its own, but it's very versatile. I love to spread it on toasted English muffins, then top with black pepper and chives. Sometimes I'll sprinkle "Everything Bagel Seasoning" on top. I also like to spread it on Wegmans toasted garlic tuscan bread.

Of course, it's good with any fruit. When I just eat a scoop in a bowl, I don't put anything on it. It has just enough tang and saltiness.

I have never seen whipped cottage cheese.  I will look for it the next time I am out shopping.

My favorite if cottage cheese with pineapple.

@Citrine1  Hood's cottage cheese is the brand that I buy. I also

buy Hood's milk and cream. We have been drinking hood's milk,

since the 50's when our milk man delivered it to the house.

I read an article earlier about how healthy cottage cheese can be .... but it's missing one important thing:  FIBER.

So, think about adding something with fiber ... berries, whole grain crackers, or other fruits or vegetables.
