A costco muffin? Yikes. I was a little curious & the info I found listed the costco blueberry muffin with 40 grams sugar, and the double chocolate at 48 grams sugar.

Ocean, and that's sugar. He's counting carbs as well.

When we got home, he said that he would eat half. So he cut it up, put the rest away, and ate the entire muffin.

This morning he said he was still on his diet. I wonder how many muffins he's gone through? He bought 12 and I don't eat them.

Sounds like he subscribes to the saying that there are fewer calories in broken cookies Smile I once said that in the break room at work, as a joke, and at least two people actually believed me {#emotions_dlg.crying}

Honny, crunchy can call my name too. But, I don't have them often and find that I can have just a few. I hate it though, if some snack is just sitting there on the counter. Teasing me!!! If I see something there (left by Mr. oceantown) I put it away. Out of sight!

The Lindt 85% dark chocolate bars are pretty low sugar. I don't remember how many sugar grams in the hershey almond. I like the large bars so I can divide into squares. I open the pkg and break into squares and put into a container (I use a small snap-ware). Then it is handy to get one square and put the container back in the pantry.

Ocean, I picked up some raspberry dark chocolate squares from the store. Thank you for the suggestion!

I can take or leave sweets; they don't do much for me (other than the typical and obvious).

Crunchies, on the other hand, I have to exercise serious self discipline!

Honny...have an idea (a frisky idea!). Suggest to him that RIGHT after dinner, you want to..er, um...have relations. Believe me...all of a sudden food doesn't seem that important...and they can fast until breakfast. Less eating. More exercise...from swinging off the chandeliers..! Who knows how this could turn out...!! Smiley Happy

DH asked me this morning "Why did you let me buy all those muffins?"

Mind you, every time we've gone in the past and he put them in the cart, I would put them back. So this is my fault now.

It was nice to start the week with such a hearty laugh!

DH lost 9 pounds. Nine. He does everything wrong and loses 9 pounds in a few weeks. Okay, that has to be water weight.

He is proud of the fact that between Sunday (after KFC) and yesterday, he ate under 1000 calories.

When I say he does everything wrong on this diet, I mean everything.
