Just stumbled on this while visiting the Walmart website.
It's one of Curtis' larger sets that has been "factory refurbished".
Price $139.95 with free shipping.
Wonder whether HSN also sells "refurbished" sets without saying so?

his cookware is advertised as being indestructible....why would it have to be refurbished?

I was wondering exactly the same thing.

How in the world would you "refurbish" non-stick cookware? I would rather pay a little more for brand new.
I had resisted made in China cookware until I tried CS. Once my DH tried it he wouldn't use anything else.
That being said, I hope the world will learn a lesson from our current crisis and stop putting all their eggs in one (Chinese) basket.

Wow! I love Curtis Stone products, but I have never heard of refurbished cookware, and do not understand the concept .Like @froggy, I would also pay more for new cookware.

If something is returned it may be resold as "refurbished." Sometimes people just change their mind. I just purchased a Cuisinart refurbished food processor and it arrived in pristine condition, works great. Half the price of new.

Not sure what this this set is however suprised that it is online with Walmart. HSN always says that the only place to get this cookware is at their site. I have bought Curtis Stone cookware since the very beginning and strongly recommend the pans. I have just about everything he has made it is excellent quality. Given many pieces as gifts they are simply the best!

Maybe because it needs to be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. If it was scratched or damaged in any way, it wouldn't be sold even as refurbished.

The Walmart site has many items from Curtis Stone.
I didn't think Walmart was an "outlet" store selling excess inventory from other sources.
