If anyone is interested he has a great TS on a 17 piece set - $199.95.
I bought his cookware several years ago and it's still non-stick and perfect. If I needed it I'd buy since I like the new pieces offered.
HSN is also offering 20% off coupon (186216) on all kitchen and food today.

Oh geez--do I LOVE that purple color!!! I bought a set of his about 7 seven ago --it was a stacking set, so no stick handles and have bought a few extras too ----think I am good as they still are looking and working fine.
But that purple!!!!![]()

Do you think the outer coating holds up well, I had a set like that from the Q from Cooks Essentials in hunter green, neither the green coating held up, nor did the non stick on the inside.

I LOVE my Curtis Stone cookware! I bought a set from Cooks Essentials several years ago, and yes, it did not live up to its presentation. But Curtis Stone cookware is great. Have had it since it was first presented on HSN, still looks great, still non-stick!

If I needed a new set I would definitely buy this!
Best cookware I've ever owned and a great value for the TS.

QUESTION? I've always heard aluminum was not healthy for cooking utensels and cookware. Yet in the past several years aluminum seems to be the preferred metal, rather than stainless steel (which is what my grandmother, mother and I have used with wonderful results).
I've watched Curtis Stone and agree his cookware does appear impressive and very easy to use. Yet, I'm still leery about the aluminum interior. I simply don't know if it is healthy or not. Is this a less expensive way to manufacture cookware than using stainless steel? IDK since my set was purchased in 1968 for our wedding in 1969. It is still as beautiful as when it was new and the copper bottoms still gleam!
