I saw Curtis do that too.  He also used a butter knife to cut it that you use for a butter dish and called it a fish knife.  That was funny.

Yes, you can eat raw fish. It tastes really good.  You have to be careful  where it was sourced and how it was handled. Many Japanese restaurants serve  different types of raw fish.

Some sushi is prepared with raw fish.  Considering the popularity of sushi  and Asian restaurants, it appears many people around the world enjoy raw fish.

Many people also prefer "rare" salmon, which others might think is undercooked

It's all-too-easy to overcook fish and ruin it.

I had a question after seeing the warnings about frozen salmon. What if you buy unfrozen salmon from the store chiller case, and then freeze it yourself. Is the bacteria warning in play?

I hope someone answers this. I would like to know also!

No Costco anywhere around here.

I did try salmon from Sam's ....didn't care for it at all.

Wegman's will have decent salmon from time to time, but you don't know when it will be in...

Ordering frozen online is easier for me.

Just took out 4 pcs for dinner tonight, with a Mango Chutney!

I think many overcook salmon!  Since you can eat it raw....think lox or sushi....I prefer my to be a tad under in the middle...just a tad.

Nothing worse than dry salmon.  I like it very moist.
