Cuisinart grill/griddle combo

Thinking about purchasing the Cuisinart grill/griddle especially  for paninis.  I have one with just the grill plates but think I would like to have the griddle plates as well. Any thoughts?

@ncmama   I have one and use both plates, and not just for paninis.  I cook steaks and burgers on mine with the grill plates.

I  have one.  Rarely used it for sandwhiches, but purchased the plates for waffles .....it makes the best waffles.

I had one a few years back-just grill/griddle. I used it a few times for burgers but that was it. Easier for me to just use a frying pan, so I gave it to a friend.

Re: Cuisinart grill/griddle combo

We have one, but it'll go in our spring garage sale unless one of our kids want it. We don't use it anymore since our way of eating has changed, but didn't even use it much before that.  The main thing I used to use it for was panini's once in a blue moon.  It did a great job, but those were never a mainstay in our lifestyle.  I may have used the griddle feature once, but if I were making pancakes or French toast, I'd use something else.  Burgers were always grilled outside year round until I got a Nnja countertop grill.

Yes I have that one. Have had it for a few years and use it occassionally--mine has the grill plates that reverse to the griddle ones. I wish I would have bought the model that had the waffle plates too. It does a great job making panninis. We make grilled sandwiches alot. You can adjust  the heating plates to be able to grilled both sides of a steak or chicken pieces---does an ok job--cooks it thru but not much browning.
