Cuisinart Ice Cream & Sorbet Maker at Costco

I went to Costco for two things: mandarin oranges, and sea salt. They were out of the oranges (I guess the season is over, just as I found a fruit that I love and tastes like I remembered it), I got the salt....and some shrimp, green beans, breakfast sandwiches, a pair of capris, and....a Cuisinart ice cream and sorbet maker. I'd been wanting one because I'm lactose intolerant and can adapt recipes to use lactose free milk. I'm also a su*ker for "kitchen toys!" {#emotions_dlg.blushing}

Anyway, if anyone is in the market for an ice cream maker, this one is lovely, comes in both white and red, and is on sale until Sunday for $29.99 - which is way below the list price.

The good news is, I did resist (barely) getting the Vitamix that they were demonstrating...but only because I didn't have an extra $395 in my checking account! {#emotions_dlg.laugh}
