I have the Cuisinart pressure cooker but has the non stick coating love the easy clean up but concern the stainless would be difficult to clean or require soaking. Also have never cooked eggs in the pressure cooker. Really prefer oval shape. Southern Bee

stainless steel inner pot is fabulous, nothing sticks or needs soaking--- I don't have the one they are selling which is made for the Q, just a heads on up that
the first thing we made in the IP was hard boiled eggs never looked back
when I was looking for a pressure cooker I decided against the nonstick type only b/c once that started to go the entire thing would be useless as the likelihood of getting a 2nd would be impossible.

`The stainless in the IP is very easy to clean. I frequently use the Saute button before using Manual and I have never had anything stick to the pot. I like cooking with stainless and was one of the reasons for purchasing an IP.

I have the original Instant Pot Duo 6 qt and love it.
It originally came with the non stick insert, but I purchased the stainless steel insert for it and love it because the non stick insert did not last long at all, and I was very careful and followed all instant pot instructions to the letter, nevertheless yhr IP non stick insert was trashed very soon.
SS is so easy to clean and I can use brillo pads if need be, but never have since using my sponge and dishwashing liquid always removes grease and everything,
Also I have never scorched anything in it as I ensure there is liquid in the IP Duo at all times, and I follow other pressure cooker recipes as well as recipes made for my Instant Pot Duo model.
Love my Instant Pot Duo 6 Quart Multi-cooker., and have purchased many as gifts for others who also rave about them.

I have a 4qt Aroma rice cooker (non-stick insert) which if you look at it can be mistaken for an IP.
Debating if I should get the TSV.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated. TIA☺️

@phoenixbrd@jackthebear: Thank you. I need an egg cooker and thougt that would be cheaper. Running out of storage space for appliances but have a few scratches on the non stick. Afraid DH would purchase Instant pot before doing research. He purchased an air fryer for me that has never been used because it is small and no digital settings but will donate this to the church fall auction. Southern Bee

2 more quarts makes pressure cooking for a larger crowd much easier, and with all the extra's QVC includes you can't go wrong.
I have the original 6 qt Instant Pot Duo Muti-cooker and also bought their 3 quart instant pot for smaller items like rice, macaroni, quinoa for 2, etc.
I find myself using them together, and they are very fast, and food is always done to perfection, and very tasty.

Southern Bee,
You are welcome and I have tried a variety of pressure cookers from stove top early models to alll electric models, and still have them, but always use my Instant Pot 6 Qt DUO because it proves to always be superior to all other pressure multicooker brands.

@SouthernBee I know what you mean about storage space. I carefully consider small kitchen appliances. Because of the way I cook, I have blenders, juicers, a dehydrator, a mandolin, food processor, Soyabella, panini, etc. I also was considering an air fryer only for potatoes, but remembered that my oven had a convection feature and it has served as a great air fryer....makes great french fries with no oil.
I am being fierce about no more appliances. The good news is that I don' t seem to need anymore. Just to let you know, I use the IP several times a week. So it isn't a pot that takes up space in the cupboard. Any appliance that isn't used on a fairly routine basis gets donated.
