Welp, I thankfully lucked out.

 

Found the following online at Walmart at a clearance price, took a chance and it works well.

Mainstays Indoor Metal Folding Stool with Slat Back and Cushioned Microfiber Seat
 
My folding kitchen cart that holds my microwave, etc. is also part metal.
 
The only thing I didn't care for was the fabric seat as it would easily get dirty.  So I checked Amazon and got a polyurethane stool cover that I can just use a cleaning wipe on.
